What to expect at your first appointment and future appointments:
On your first visit to the Santiam Foot Clinic, PC we require arrival 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment with all of your new patient paperwork filled our prior to your appointment time. If you have seen your family physician or another podiatrist regarding your foot complaint, it is helpful to request your records before your initial appointment. An initial office visit lasts approximately 45 to an hour. During your initial appointment, we will perform a full foot examination along with on-site digital x-rays. Please bring any questions regarding your foot complaint with you. After discussing your foot condition and treatment plan, your provider may recommend additional labs or other tests. Follow-up office visits tend to be 15 to 30 minutes. Santiam Foot Clinic, PC knows that everyone's time is valuable to them and we do our best to stay on schedule.
If you need to cancel, reschedule or you think you may be a few minutes late for your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible. We require 24 hour cancellation notice. This allows our office staff, if need be, to be of service to other patients that may be able to use that appointment time. Santiam Foot Clinic, PC knows that everyone's time is valuable to them and we do our best to stay on schedule.
Our staff is available from 8:00 am to 11:45 am and 1:00 to 4:45 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 am and 1:00 to 3:45 p.m., Wednesday and Friday. Please call our office at (503) 581-2505 to schedule an appointment.
Insurances, Billing And Fees:
We accept most insurance plans. Some insurances require a referral from your family physician. Please check with your insurance plan to see if a referral is needed prior to your visit. It is our office policy to have you the member contact your insurance company prior to any visit so that you (the member) understands and is aware of how your insurance company covers podiatry services—for example: new patient office visits, injections, co-payments, etc. Co-payments, deductibles, co-insurances or any remaining balance not paid by your insurance company are due at the time of service. Our office will submit insurance claims to both primary and secondary insurance companies. If you have any questions about pricing, codes, or any other billing related questions, please feel free to contact our office. Our billing department is always willing to assist you.
